Da aufgrund vom Veranstaltungsverbot im Rahmen der Corona Krise Clubs & Bühnen geschlossen sind, versuchen wir auf diesem Wege die Plattenrelease von Lukas Dolphins neuer Single "RUN" zu realisieren.
Der Hannoveraner Indie-Pop Künstler Lukas Dolphin ist Großstädter, doch seine Seele wohnt ganz sicher im Meer. Aus dessen Tiefen taucht er mit heftigen Geschichten auf, die mit ausgefeilten Melodien ans Licht kommen. Mit seiner ausdrucksstarken Stimme intoniert er auf den Punkt, mal weich und innig, mal schreit und kotzt er sich leidenschaftlich die Seele aus dem Leib. So erfindet er sein ganz eigenes Genre. Schwer zu definieren welche Zutaten er dafür nimmt, aber es riecht nach Elliot Smith und schmeckt wie Simon & Garfunkel oder REM. Mit gerade mal 26 Jahren bringt Lukas Dolphin eine Geschichte mit, die für mehr als ein ganzes Leben reicht. Ob Folk, Indie, Pop oder Punk, all diese Stile vereint er in seiner Musik und schafft unerwartet etwas vollkommen Neues.
Hanover-based Indie-Pop artist Lukas Dolphin is a city dweller, but there is no doubt that his soul lives by the ocean. Its from those depths that he creates such moving stories, which come to light with sophisticated melodies. His expressive voice underlines the tone of his lyrics; sometimes soft and intimate, sometimes loud and almost violent, as if his soul is ejecting out of his body. In this way he invents his very own genre. It is hard to define which ingredients he uses, but the influences of Elliot Smith, Simon & Garfunkel and REM are definitely recognizable. At just 26 years of age, Lukas Dolphin tells a story rich beyond his years. Whether folk, indie, pop or punk, he combines all these styles in his music and unexpectedly creates something completely new.
