Love for Lesley

On the night of Friday, March 24th, my dear friend Lesley lost her beautiful beachfront apartment to a massive 5-alarm fire that destroyed a total of five homes in Scituate, Massachusetts. By the grace of God, Lesley's boyfriend had walked out to get something from his car when he saw flames coming from the adjacent house. He called 911 and was able to get Lesley out of her apartment quickly and safely. Before her swift exit, she was able to grab her grandmother's irreplaceable rings that mean the world to her; however, those were all she was able to save. The entire structure was burned down to the foundation.

For anyone who knows Lesley, her apartment was her little slice of heaven--the place she had always dreamed of living, and worth the hour-long commute to her job as a Kindergarten teacher. She was already looking forward to the summer ahead and days spent on the beach. As you can imagine, she is devastated by this loss and overwhelmed by the task of replacing everything she once owned.

We are eternally grateful that Lesley and the other victims were not injured in this tragic event, and for the tireless efforts of the first responders throughout the night. It is my hope that we can use this space to raise money for her as she slowly replaces what the fire took from her. Thank you for any love you can show for Lesley. No donation is too small.
