Let me tell you about our little angel, Baby Jase. He is our amazing 16 month old baby who was diagnosed with biliary artesia. This illness is a life threatening condition in infants in which the bile ducts do not have normal openings. When Jase was 3 months old he had his first surgery, called a Kasai Procedure. This surgery did buy Baby Jase some time; however, it wasn't long before Jase was put on the liver transplant list. Because his liver was not functioning properly, he began to develop several complications from his illness. Jase spent his first birthday in Motts Children's Hospital. On November 4, 2013 he was flown by helicopter back to the hospital for difficulty in breathing. He has been in the hospital ever since. Baby Jase thus far has been thru two liver transplants, a tracheotomy, a collapsed lung, kidney dialysis, internal bleeding, multiple infections, blood clots, a craniotomy and many other issues. He has endured 13 surgeries thus far. Baby Jase is a strong little fighter. He has conquered many obstacles thrown his way. We strongly believe in the Power of Prayer!! Many of you have asked how you can help. We have created Jase's own donation's page. Every dollar helps with the cause!!! The bills don't stop even though there is a family crisis. Jase needs his mommy and daddy by his side now more than ever. Please keep Baby Jase in your Prayers! Thank you to each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts!!!! Lets get Baby Jase home!!!! Love to all...
