Help Jayden & his family!

Donation protected
On Sunday, March 10th Jayden Jackson (aka Squid) and his brother Alax joined 3 of their mates for a boys day out. Little did we know that we would soon experience every parents nightmare (our beautiful sons had been a horrific car accident). During the course of their journey to their destination the vehicle left the road. As a result the 4 passengers sustained serious injuries. Jayden was classified as critical and was immediately airlifted to RNSH where it was found that he had sustained severe spinal cord injuries and damage to his his right leg resulting in him having no feeling in his extremities. His injuries included a fractured C6 and a total dislocation of his C7 in his spine which in turn has damaged his spinal cord. He also had a total dislocation of his right knee. He has since undergone 9 surgical procedures (with the distinct possibility of more to come) on both his spine and leg with metal rods and bolts inserted in both to stabilize these areas. Jayden, as an upcoming sports star in his beloved game of football, played for the Wyong Emus, the Tuggerah Demons, the Kanwal Bulls and played State League last year for Central Coast United before returning to the Kanwal  Warnervale Rovers where he had many successful seasons. He also took up coaching his younger sisters team for 3 years and working at Soccer 5's Tuggerah.  As you can imagine every day is an uphill battle, not only emotionally but financially for our entire family with his Dad (Glen) travelling to Sydney on a daily basis to assist with feeding etc. and the rest of the family as often as possible to look after his needs and give him the family love he would of had at home had this tragic accident not occurred.  Thankfully, Jayden (although he has his bad days) has a very positive outlook and keeps fighting even through all the pain and suffering he has so far endured and we, as his family will do everything within our power to support him in his battle as we ask for your help in doing the same. Jayden will be needing ongoing medical attention with specialized care and travel aids and we are hopeful of raising as much as possible to assist us (The Jackson Family) for what will be an ongoing plight in the months and years ahead to care and provide as normal a life as possible for Jayden. We hope that by raising these funds we will be able to purchase the vehicle necessary to transport Jayden and our family together. Our family is grateful for the love and support our family, friends and our community has shown us during this difficult time and with your help, no matter how big or small the donation please know that it will assist him fight this unenviable battle. We have to believe that out of difficulty and hardships miracles can happen!
