Brown Bag Ministry

Did you know that there are hundreds of children in our community who do without food during summer vacation?  There are children right here in OUR community that rely on resources such as free or reduced-priced school lunch, during the school year.  When school is not in session, many of these students go hungry.  Brown Bag Ministry is committed to making sure this does not happen in our area.  This will be the fourth summer that local churches will be delivering lunches Monday through Friday all summer long to children whild school is out. With this program, it is our mission to provide nutritious food to children in need, when school lunches are not available.  Last summer we delivered 13,139 lunches in the Wise/Norton area. 

Brown Bag Ministry wants to provide as many lunches to needy children as possible; however, with today's touch economic conditions, it makes it difficult for us to meet those needs without help from churches and people like you.  We have set up this website to invite you to dontate to this very worthwhile cause.  Donations can be in the form of food, supplies, or money.  All donations will be used to feed hungry children in OUR community.
