Kahu's Road to Recovery

Hi family and friends, as most of you may know our dear little Kahu has just recently been in an accident while on holiday in Bali. Kahu had a fall resulting in a severe nearly fatal bleed on the brain, she was rushed in for immediate brain surgery and has been recovering in ICU since. We all know how much of a fighter Kahu is, she has come out of surgery on a positive note and is currently on the long road to recovery. She isn't out of the woods yet though, as this kind of injury/surgery takes a lot of time to recover. With Kahu being in Bali, medically and financially it makes this whole ideal much harder than having her at home in Australia with all the family. Financially this has taken a huge toll on everyone, as most of her immediate family members have flown over in such short notice to be by her side. As Kahu is still in the early stages of recovery, we still don't know how long and how far there is to go until our little girl is back to her normal self and back on home soil in Australia. We have all put our lives on hold to be by Kahus side, until we get her home. Our dear friends and family, all we are asking for is a donation whether it be big or small, to help ease the financial stress for this unfortunate situation. Any donations received will go towards the costs of flights, accommodation, travel, everyday expenses whilst in Bali and medical costs. It is still unknown how much the accumulated medical costs are and it is also unknown as to whether or not Kahus travel insurance will cover the medical costs, so we will keep everybody updated through this page as we receive more news. We'd like to thank everyone who has sent kind positive messages through and also thank those who have helped since this has all happened. We'd like to also give a huge special thank you and we're hoping to hopefully be able to repay the awesome Balinese people who have gone above and beyond in helping Kahu whether it be staying at the hospital, translating, helping with costs where needed and giving up their time to support us.
