Fuck Cancer and Help Animal

It is on the behalf of our dear friend Animal that this charity has been put together. Whether a person has known him for five minutes or five years, his friendship has become a precious part of many lives that is worth fighting for. Animal’s name and appearance might not fit a conventional mold but do not confuse unconventionality with quality. He has proven himself a loyal, compassionate and dedicated friend and son through out my ten year friendship with him. He works tirelessly at an honest blue collar job to fully support not only himself, but his aging mother Gerri. He works six days a week as a truck driver and laborer for a lumber yard and then has the time and energy to selflessly come home to take care of his 86 year old mother.

Therefore, it was a sad day for all when he was diagnosed with stage 2 esophagus cancer. He is currently struggling through the hardships of chemotherapy and still has months more to go. Animal has also endured numerous surgeries with more in his future. He did not falter or lay down when this challenge was placed upon him. He is willing to go the distance through what ever trials await him on his journey to remission, however he cannot travel this expensive path alone. The treatments needed to beat cancer are enormously expensive, too much for the average American to afford alone.

Animal is a man who has worked his life to help and support others. Now, it is time for that good to come back around and help him when he is in the most need of it. He faces a challenge that he can’t and shouldn’t have to fight alone. It’s time we all show Animal that we will stand  and fight with him.
