Funeral Cost

Let's Support Karki Family:
When someone you love become a memory, the memory become a treasure.

Last Monday night, June 10, 2019, Sanjay Karki -- a Bhutanese community member -- was tragically killed in a shooting incident. He left behind a newlywed wife, Rita, and old parents. According to the Columbus Police, he was found lying on the building’s steps suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. And he was pronounced dead at 10:41 pm.

The incident profoundly saddens the Bhutanese Community of Central Ohio (BCCO) and the community members. The BCCO request all community leaders, members, and other partner organizations to provide support by donating the funeral cost. It may be small, but it will be a huge support for the mourning family. Our goal is to raise $2,000 for the funeral cost for the Karki family.

Late Sanjay was born on 01/16/1996 in Kdhunabari Refugee Camp in Nepal. He resettles in the USA on Feb 23, 2016, and was living parent (Father-Mukti Nath Karki and Monther-Run Maya Karki) in Columbus, Ohio since then before getting married three months ago.
