I started this fundraising site for my parents, Don and Colleen Andrews, as their house caught fire on 2/20/14 and they lost everything including several pets. Fortunately my younger brother, Noah, who was sleeping at the time, was able to get out with only a sprained ankle. However, he too lost everything.
They have never accepted handouts and believe that one must work for everything they have, however at this time I feel as though they could use some help. The house burnt completely to the ground and nothing is salvageable. Unfortunately, where it was a rental house, there was no form of insurance and therefore the financial burden is entirely theirs. Many friends and family have expressed a desire and interest in making a donation which they would appreciate very much, so I created the means to do so. Thank you in advance!
