Over 13.6 million people live in Cambodia, but over half the population was born after 1985 and over 35% of the population is under the age of 14. It is one of the poorest countries in the world, with over one-third of the country living on less than $0.45 a day.

Cambodia has a tragic story of genocide that wiped away 1/4 of the entire population (over 3 million people) during the span of three years between 1975 and 1978 under Pol Pot's Genocidal Regime. As most educated and older population of Cambodia was wiped out during this time, Cambodia is still undergoing a time of recovery and hardship from unsanitary conditions and malnutrition.

So What Are We Doing?
We are an International Medical Outreach team studying at the University of the Nations in Kona, Hawaii, and we are going to Cambodia from March 26 to May 21. We are raising money to buy medications and supplies for the clinics we will be having in the rural villages.

As "Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness" (Matthew 9:35), we hope to share God's love and administer to those that need our help.
