A Superhero Needs Help

I've always said my dad was a superhero. He could fix everything, build anything, and it seemed like there was nothing he didn't know. He's spent his entire life breaking his back to care for everyone around him. Long, hard days spent in the sweltering heat of summer or the frigid cold of winter. He did whatever he could to make sure we were taken care of. Now, it's time I return the favor.

In January of 2019, our family received a devastating blow when my dad was diagnosed with stage IV glioblastoma multiforme. GBM is a rare form of brain cancer that affects fewer than 200,000 people a year. It is one of the fastest growing and most aggressive brain cancers that we know of, and there is no cure.

This diagnosis has left my dad unable to work. He receives some benefits from his job, but unfortunately nothing in this life is truly free. After insurance, his chemo alone is $120 PER PILL. I work a full time job but have had to cut back my hours to help care for daddy, and have to make many purchases out of pocket to make sure that he is comfortable and receiving the care he needs. This has left a huge financial burden on not just me, but our whole family.

I want to do everything I can to help keep my dad and our family afloat through this incredibly difficult time. So, I'm putting my pride aside to ask for your help. Any donation made will be used to ensure that my daddy has the best care available and is able to afford the treatments necessary to extend his life as long as possible.
