Trudy's Retirement Fund

Hello all! Thank you for visitng the page I set up for my mom *SSHH she doesn't know!*
If you know anything about our family you know my dad is now disabled. My mother takes care of him full time and continues to work her full time job. The last 2 years have been very hard on her.
She is one year and 3 months away from being able to draw any kind of retirement. Her hope was to stick it out until then.
Recently there have been major changes in her employment situation. Her department has been contracted out to a another company. After 34 years with her employer, she is hurt of course, for being thrown under the bus, as well as fearful she will not be able to keep the job much longer because of it's new requirements, which include long drives and overnight hotel stays for training (she cannot leave my dad overnight).
She has already been through so much I am determined to help ease the burden she has in any way possible. My hope and goal is to raise enough money for several months of their living expenses that if she is no longer able to keep her job, they will get by and she will not have to worry!
