Helping Hearts Map Irish Defibrillators

There is currently NO complete database in Ireland listing all the defibrillators (AEDs) in our communities. This means if you were to need one of these life saving devices in an emergency, the emergency services would not be able to tell you where your closest AED was located.
With one in three Irish deaths related to heart desease, and only a 6% survival rate for cardiac arrest victims, there is an ever growing need not only for AEDs in our communities, but knowledge of where to find them and access them in an emergency.
Helping Hearts, a CPR and First Aid Training Centre in Galway, is changing this by developing an app that will not only map each of the locations in our database, but will also share this life saving information with emergency services for official use. This app will be available FREE of charge to all users, in hopes to promote awareness of the resources available in your area.
To make our app as successfull as possible, we are asking you to support us either by contributing much needed funds, or by providing us with AED locations in Ireland that we don't already have on our map.
