Help Adeline Beat Cancer

Four year old Adeline is the 5th child of Amy and Dan, in her family of 8, ages ranging from 18 to 1 ½. She is a funny, cheerful, loving little girl who loves the Incredibles and ‘If you give a mouse a cookie’ books. After several months of vague symptoms and visits to the doctor she was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. This is the 3rd most common cancer in children. Treatment of this disease is long and grueling, consisting of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery over 12 – 18 months. There will be several one month stays in a hospital away from home. She has completed her first round of chemotherapy and tolerated it fairly well.Support from our faith communities and friends near and far has been amazing. Prayers are being offered all over the country and several foreign countries and we cannot begin to thank you enough.As you can see though resources are quickly being spread thin. Dan is trying to work but taking off when necessary. Someone has stayed with Adeline night and day during the past 2 weeks of her hospital stay. As you can imagine needs of the other 5 children have not gone away. If you are a person of faith we are asking first of all for your prayers for complete healing and for strength to get through the battle.
