Help Me Teach Kids

I have been teaching middle school language arts in the inner city of Charlotte, NC for 4 years. This year, I will be moving to a new school in the same part of town, but I will need some help creating a classroom that serves the students best.
My list of expenses includes:
- A classroom library with books that will spark my student's interest in reading. Many of my students live in homes with little or no access to quality books. It has been proven over and over again that a strong classroom library can improve student's reading ability by surrounding them with books that pique their interest.
So far, I have collected a about 50 books from places like libraries where they cost a little over a dollar for each and are in good condition. I am still looking to add at least 50 more books to my collection, particularly books that cover a wider range of topics and styles and that are of high interest to the students. Those may cost as much as $10 each. ($500)
- Earbuds for each of my 100+ students (to be kept in the classroom and checked out under their name). This year, I will be using computer programs such as Edgenuity to help them learn at their own pace. However, these programs require sound. ($200)
-Desk towers to keep supplies organized and handy for student use. These towers are simple plastic drawers. I will need about eight of these. ($100)
