Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma

Joe Vaske, my cousin has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins’s Lymphoma Cancer only a few months after his girlfriend was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis type 2.  This couple have had two serious medical conditions diagnosed that are life-changing within a few months of each other. They are both in their early 20’s and have just started making lifetime memories together and with family.  They are both fighters and have begun treatment banking on medical science, faith, and the support of their families. As you can imagine this will take its toll as a financial burden which should be the last thing on their mind. 

No one, not even myself can grasp the thought process of how to cope with these illnesses. They are too young to have these life challenges thrusted upon them, and to both be dealing with these serious conditions at the same time is unfathomable. 

I only ask that that you reflect on the gifts you have been blessed with in life, and hope that you can spare not only your thoughts and prayers to these two amazing individuals, but a donation to help ease the financial burden they are facing.
