taze pickett was admitted to the hospital feb. 4, 2014 with bi-lateral pneumonia. she still remains in icu at a local hospital in tulsa, ok, her husband bill was also admitted for the flu later the same week but now has been released. taze is still fighting for her life. she still remains on a ventilator/oxygen and sedated for several days now. updated feb. 14, 2014: ms. taze is still sedated, in icu and on ventilator. however, they removed her from the rotating machine they had her in and she is now in a regular bed and she is now breathing at 60%ventilator at 40%. the doctors have said she is the sickest person they have ever seen in the hospital/icu in a years time. she also has a.r.d.s, acute respiratory distress syndrome (google) it's scary stuff. please pray for this family for healing and recovery and especially for god to take care of their needs in the days to come. this isn't just something that she'll recover from in a few days, weeks or months. we (friends) have opened this fund to help the family pay for numerous bills. they are both self employed and have no health insurance every little bit helps to take the stress off. bill visits taze every day and tries to work. thank you in advance for your caring and loving hearts.....
