Help me Reach my Ballet Goals

My name is Stephen Marshall, and I am a ballet dancer. I started dancing when I was 7 years old back in Boston MA. I quickly learned to love this beautiful and difficult art form. After dancing local for 10 years, I was asked to attend the Colburn Dance Academy  in Los Angeles CA. Here I had the privilege of dancing under the direct instruction of former New York City Ballet principle Jenifer Ringer, and her highly qualified team of teachers. 

Through the direction of my wonderful teachers at Colburn and through my own discoveries, I have been able to explore not only what it is like to be a dancer, but what it really means to be an artist. Ballet to me is more than just a pretty thing. It lives and breaths for those who give it life, and it has given me a voice in the world of art and culture.

Now, my journey towards professional company life brings me to Raleigh NC. Starting in September I will be taking classes as and performing as an apprentice with the Carolina Ballet. Your gracious donations will help me reach my final goal of being a professional dancer. Thank You So Much!
