Jay Carlisle & Familys Fight Against Cancer

I’ve known the Carlisle Family for a few years now, many of you have known them for way longer. They are wonderful, good people. Jay is an awesome young man. I hope we can reach out as a community and show our love and support to this amazing family. They are some of the best people I know. From Joy: It has been a very emotional week for us. Our son, Jay, age 17 has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The doctors said if you are going to get cancer, this is the best one to get because it responds well to chemo. He noticed a bump in his sternum a month ago. So grateful to be at Primary Children’s Hospital. You never know what life is going to throw at you! We need to wait for his chest tube to come out and heal from his biopsy/surgery before he can start chemotherapy.
