Fundraising for the 2015 Disney Marathon

After running six half marathons, I’ve decided it’s time to make the leap to a full marathon. My goal is to use this opportunity as a way to raise money (and to ensure that I actually finish the race) for five charities that are near and dear to our family's heart. Please help us accomplish this by giving what you can. Our goal is to raise $5,000.00 total, with $1,000.00 each going to the following:

*Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund - for helping my Aunt Linda and so many other cancer patients

*Boston Children’s Hospital - for helping us get through Elena's surgeries and treatments

*The One Fund - because it hits home and those people that were effected need and deserve our help

*Lou Mongello’s The Dream Team (Make-A-Wish) - for giving children with life threatening medical conditions the chance to visit our family's favorite place, Walt Disney World

*First Congregational Church of Hanover - because it's an awesome, open-minded community of caring, loving people that are doing a lot of good

The marathon I will be running is the Walt Disney World Marathon, which will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2015.

100% of the money that we raise will be going to the charities listed above.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
