Honor Flight Travel Cost

“This is US ARMY Veteran Robert Timmons, my daddy, my pops, and my pa. He recently came to live with my husband and I and had a dream come true when he was selected to go on an Honor Flight to Washington DC. For those who don't know what this is, an honor flight is an all-expenses paid trip to Washington DC for veterans to

see the war memorials and national monuments while being honored for their service to our country.

After some emails, phone calls and a phone conference, I was able to get us on a flight for November 1st, 2022. This is a trip gifted to the Veteran, but not for the guardian, which I did not know before I started making calls,

After the conference call tonight, I learned I need $515 (due in 3 weeks), to attend this wonderful, memory filled trip with my Pops. My heart shattered because I cannot afford this but want dad to be able to see these Memorials.

I know everyone struggles in this day, and if you cannot help, I completely understand, but if you can help us reach this goal to help me take my daddy to Washington DC and create a few more memories, anything is greatly appreciated. Funds raised will go

toward the guardian fee (covering flights and accommodations) and other incidentals incurred for the trip (transportation, food, etc).

And if by chance our goal has exceeded the amount I need for the trip, the remaining dollars will be donated to The Land of Lincoln Honor Flight. Thank you all in advance for any and all donations.”
