Lisa's medical bills

My sister Lisa has been battling Hodgkins Lymphoma, a form of lymphomic cancer, for over 12 years. She has recently been told that she needs to start a new chemotherapy drug ASAP as her tumors are rapidly growing. With this chemo Lisa will experience a variety of symptoms including but not limited to: bone and muscle pain, severe nausea, hair loss and exhaustion. In all of the years I have been by Lisa's side I have never heard her complain or ask "why me?". She rarely asks for help and when she does you know it has become unbearable.
Due to her illness Lisa is unable to work and stays home full time with her 1 year old daughter, Emerson. Living soley off of Adam's income is tough with Lisa's rising medical bills. MSP covers all of the treatment that she recieves in hospital but all of her prescriptions have to be paid for out of pocket. She also has to catch the ferry to see her oncologist in Vancouver on a regular basis. The cost of her ferry trips are currently not being covered and the expense adds up quickly.
