Hi everyone!
It's Annika! I have some exciting news! I have an opportunity to go to Japan with The Expedition Club. A group of students from Port Townsend will do an exchange with students from our Sister City in Ichikawa in November 2014. The Japanese students will come here first in August 2014. We will be tasked with being Ambassadors while their students are here but in particular, when we are there. We will not only be representing Port Townsend, but our school and our community and on a broader scale, our country!
We will visit schools and will be expected to help kids hone their English speaking skills.
I am excited but also nervous.
In order to go, I must raise $2395.00.
