In January of this year, Mark our 24 year old brother was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Mark has worked hard his whole life to make it on his own and most recently had lived by himself while working as a logger in New Hampshire.
By the time Mark's Lymphoma had been diagnosed it had advanced to stage IV. At this moment, Mark has been receiving bi-weekly chemotherapy and has to fight unexpected bouts with illnesses which further impacts his health.
To add to his difficulties, Mark does not have insurance. Due to this, it has literally been a struggle every pharmacy visit to pick up the medications he needs to live and fight this disease. We've applied for assistance through every cancer society we can think of and knocked on every door, but now are in a stage of having to wait for months for assistance- if he is even eligible. We were told that we lived in one of the worst states for Mark's situation and would likely be denied for assistance.
His medical bills have been mounting and his bills have been going unpaid, as he cannot return to working at this moment. Although Mark's goal is to beat this disease and return to work as quickly as possible doing what he loves.
We realize that people are constantly bombarded with people asking for money and donations for different reasons, but we are asking for your help now to support a young man from southern New Hampshire (Temple, formerly from Brookline) who has always worked hard and is struggling to beat Hodgkins Lymphoma in stage IV. Every donation means the absolute world to us!
