Stronger Together. #TeamBlevins

Shortly after Amanda's 30th birthday in October 2018, she received the challenging diagnosis of stage 2 breast cancer. She has undergone eight rounds of chemo and is preparing for her double mastectomy in a few weeks. 

Ms. Blevins is a devoted 6th grade teacher who inspires her students through her positive attitude, actions, and great sense of humor. She is passionate and committed to be a role model for any student who is lucky enough to walk through her door. Due to the nature of her treatment, she has been unable to work because of a compromised immune system, therefore our goal is to help her focus on her treatment and not the financial burden so she can return to her students as quickly as possible. 

All donations will go directly to Amanda so that she can take the necessary time to heal and recover. She is strong and determined to beat this and with your help, she will be able to focus on her health during this time. Amanda is adventurous and loves camping, visiting national parks, and being outdoors. She is hoping to go on a trip out west in the fall/winter and we would love to help her get there. As Amanda moves from her treatment phase to her recovery phase, her social and emotional health is as much of a priority as her physical health. Our goal is to help her maintain the health of her mind, body, and spirit.
