Google glass explorer for education

I just received my invitation to join the Google Glass explorer program! I am passionate about bringing cutting edge technology to my classroom. I recently had my students complete a project using augmented reality with math vocabulary. Google glass is the future of augmented reality and the potential uses in education/classroom are truly exciting and endless. Allowing my students to be on the front end of this technology is a dream come true! This opportunity will allow me to take my students on virtual field trips, create lessons using interactive sites in new ways and inspire students to possibly seek careers in design and implementation of future technology.

I am seeking donations and asking for your support and investment for my students and education. Technology will not stand still. It is going to take true investments in classrooms and our students directly to make a true difference and make education what it is truly meant to be. A true education is built around new experiences that raise questions and allow real life critical thinking skills to be utilized while working collaboratively. Google glass is an experience that few students will have the option to explore, at least not for a couple of years. Please help my classroom be on the cutting edge and possibly be a part of something unique, exciting and also educational!
