This fund raiser is for Teresa my mom. Just 8 months ago she was diagnosed with stage 3, now stage 4 colon cancer. She has been fighting hard with chemo/ radiation treatments.  It rapidly effected her quality of life, and hasn't been able work in months. As of the end of April the doctors revealed the cancer did metastasize to her brain, and now she's in Hospice Care, theres no further treatment for her, and now it just comes down to making her as comfortable as possible. My father Michael is her sole caretaker and hasn't left her side while caring for her, and is away from work unpaid as FMLA doesn't cover people in this situation. Ive been doing my best to help as much as I could with rent, utilities and living expenses.  Its past the point of needing a little to help handle these new bills and wasn't sure how to ask for some help. I’m hoping to raise money to help take care of her medical bills/ hospice care/  help cover their rent and living expences/ funeral costs.
