Free my friend Wurri Jallow

Donation protected
When Stacy and I were in Gambia serving as Peace Corps volunteers, we became close friends with a wonderful young man named Wurry Jallow. Over the years we've kept in contact with him and have helped support him and his family. He's a kind, loving, and compassionate young man who faced a lot of challenges living in Gambia. He has wanted to find a way out of there for a long time. We did what we could to try to help him come to the U.S., but found that it's nearly impossible to secure a visa without the right connections or resources. Just yesterday, we found out that he recently travelled to Libya with his uncle and they made an attempt to cross to Italy, but were caught. They are now being held in Tripoli until their family can come up with enough money to pay for their release. Apparently, this is a common situation. With the warring factions still fighting for control of Libya, the chaos creates the opportunity for Africans to attempt passage to Europe from there. However, if caught, then rather than being directly deported, they must pay for their release. I'm working with Wurry's best friend, Habib, to help free him and his uncle and have them safely returned home. Unfortunately, I don't have the means to pay for their release on my own. Anything you can give to help is greatly appreciated by me, Stacy, and Wurry's family and friends. Please and thanks!
