Hi! My name is Kaylin and I am a 14 year old Oregonian. My 8th grade class is going on an educational trip to Washington D.C. and I am trying to raise money to attend. This trip is not sponsored by our school and it is up to each child to raise the money, individually. I have been doing odd jobs in my neighborhood when time allows but I am concerned my time is running low.


I am involved in many activities within my community. I am a 4-year flutist, have participated in First Lego League for 4 years and I donate my time caring for displaced cats at my local PETCO through Kitty Angel Team Adoption. This is in addition to the many sports I play and outdoor adventures I take with my family.


I am looking for a few good donations to help me reach my goal. I am hoping to have the money raised by the end of April. There are financial advantages for registering early but I have to have the full amount in order to take advantage of that opportunity.
