Funeral/Memorial Costs

The voice of Nicole Rodarte has entertained, informed, and at times inspired the Tri-State with her morning radio show on Knack. Nicole started her illustrious tenure in Lake Havasu City as the always boisterous and prolific journalist for Mobscene Magazine. Through her writings she introduced her readers to a vernacular that was so fresh and new you swore she made it up... and at times probably did! She filled the pages with an almost how-to guide for experiencing life in true Nicole fashion... "Ghetto -Fabulous". Her subsequent move to the Knack eight years ago was no different! If her personality was big in print, it was only amplified to the N'th degree by the radio antennas that carried her voice throughout the Tri-State! It was there at the Knack that Nicole would meet her co-host the loveable Kevin Jones. His sense of humor and big heart not only made for great chemistry on the air, but would eventually win over Nicole and lead to a real life partnership!

As with any great love story... things do not always fair so good for even the most lovable characters. In fact, sometimes the brightest stars here on earth are only lent to us for a little while. Although the light they give off is bright and beyond description. Their true home is in the heavens. It is only there that they can be truly admired and continue to guide us as we continue on with our own journey.

Nicole put herself into everything she did and loved everyone that was within earshot of her morning radio show. No matter whether you read through her food & music reviews in the old days of Mobscene magazine or if it was company she gave you while you drank your morning cup of coffee, she was capable of putting a smile on your face and a pep-in-your-step. Her passing is unexpected for everyone around her and has left us wondering what to do with this hole we are feeling.

Although you could call her a local celebrity her and Kevin were never on the list to be featured on the next episode of MTV's Cribs. With all the emotions that go with someones passing... funeral costs should not be one of them. If you would like to give back to someone that gave so much. You can help give Nicole a send off that can truly be worthy of a personality as big as her.

Please know that any amount is fine and it's not the amount that shows the care... It's the token of giving that lets the giver know that they did something as a group and did something fantastic for our beloved Nicole!!
