Supporting Steven Lim
On the morning of February
8, 2014, one of my closest friends, Steven Lim, had his car broken into
while he was helping a friend shovel snow. His backpack was stolen,
which contained his laptop, hard drive, and notebooks.
These items were of priceless value to him. You see, Steven, has been
pursuing his passion of creating videos that speak on the Midwest Asian
American experience for the last couple of years. He has given up a lot
to pursue this dream. Thus, those items that were stolen were
essentially his livelihood: the compilation of his works and ideas.
If you would like to support Steven to help him pay for his stolen items
and allow him to focus his time on creating more videos, please
consider donating some of your money. I believe there is a great need
for a Midwest Asian American voice to be heard and I know Steven is
someone who can.
