Everybody’s favorite Natalie has had her world rocked, and not in the good way! Let’s help our girl out. Please give what you can, today.

Here's the lowdown on the situation, from Natalie:

"I wasn’t going to do a GoFundMe because there’s a ton of people in this city right now that have it way worse off than me, but I have found that the total amount of money this accident will cost me and my partner Shawn is way more than either of us could financially cover, combined. So thanks to Jen Lane, for ignoring my prideful stubbornness and setting this up. Here’s exactly what the donations will go to:

First, there’s the fact that I need to hire a moving company/truck because I gave notice at my old apartment before I was hit, and have to be out by the first of the month.

I am in a neck and back brace and am using a cane. I called the advice nurse, who advised me to go to the ER a second time because what I described over the phone meant I was suffering from neurological symptoms, like frequently dropping items I try to hold in my hand, headaches, dizziness etc., I am in no condition to lift anything over 5lbs. at this time.

Next, because PPD has a year-long backlog for processing police reports, it may not be available to the insurance company for a full 365 days, and that means they won’t know what kind of claim to file.

Compensation from them could be pushed out indefinitely. That, and if we do get the insurance company’s pay-out for rental cars, it will only cover 2 or 3 weeks worth of rentals - which might get us through the estimate but repairs are so over-booked that we might not get the truck back for months!

Even worse, no matter whether they find the suspect or not, we will still have a $500 copay because he was driving a stolen vehicle with no insurance.

We also have to pay to have it towed to the auto body shop and back, just for the estimate. Their lot is so full, that they don’t accept towed cars to be dumped at their lot any longer.

I have missed days of work that come out of my personal vacation time, I was charged for the ambulance ride that took me to the closest hospital, which is all out of network for my HMO. ALL OF THIS JUST IN TIME FOR FINALS WEEK AND MY BIRTHDAY ON MONDAY. Party.

I hate doing these things but thanks to this piece of human detritus, my partner and I are both in over our heads. Please don’t feel bad if you can’t give anything. I know we are (mostly) all scraping by.

Anything counts, and I’m grateful to all the people that have already reached out, donated their time (thanks, Jessie for being my PR agent), money, advice and connections.

Thanks to you guys, the suspect’s face is on the Fox 12 most wanted list. Also, I was contacted by the mayor’s office and the Director of Public Safety for the city of Portland today. I’m running this up the flag pole as far as it will go.

This guy is brazenly damaging property, assaulting people and stealing stuff with zero fear of any consequences because he knows the police “don’t have the resources to investigate” petty stuff like felony hit-and-run accidents involving drunk drivers in a school zone, or drilling into gas tanks to steal gas in broad daylight and assaulting people who try to stop him.

He needs be identified, so he can be linked to the many crimes he has so far committed with impunity.

Please share, if you can.

Thanks."
