I have qualified for the 2014 USA Weightlifting National Championships this coming July in Utah. Expenses for travel and hotel for meets that are not local add up very quickly, but are necessary to my growth as an athlete. I'd appreciate so much any help in getting to lift in the meet.
I've been brought back to life through finding this sport. I owe a lot to weightlifting for giving me a sense of direction and purpose. To me lifting isn't just a pastime or hobby. I lift the bar with meaning, defeating what tries to defeat me. I work hard every day to learn, teach, and get stronger and better at my craft.
I lift on my own and therefore cover all my expenses on my own. The things we do for what we love! Thank you so much in advance!!!
