Fritz's Medical bills

Hello Friends, family, and probably a few of you who do not know me or this handsome boy. This german shepard is named Fritz and he belongs to my wonderful mother, Lisa Fleck. We rescued him  6 years ago from someone who was in the army and shipped him back to the U.S. not knowing really what to do with a German Shepard puppy. Since the day we got him Fritz he has suffered from several health issues including thyroid, and orthopedic disease, hip dysplasia, digestive issues and more. My mother being the amazing woman that she is has poured not only her love and time into caring for this dog but also all of her savings. On Monday, January 8th Fritz took a turn for the worse, and we rushed him to the emergecny room, it turns out he had a gaping hole the size of a baseball in his intestinal wall. Emergency surgery took place and he is currently still in the hosiptal as they nurse him back to health. Fritz is the sweetest, most loyal dog I know and if you have met him I am sure you can attest to this. We are no where out of the woods yet, but he is a family member and my little brother and we do not intend to give up on him.
