Jade

I met Jade a few nights ago at my local rec center. She is a trans woman from Kentucky who is now homeless in Colorado. I don’t know much of her story but I imagine that she didn’t feel comfortable being who she truly was in the Bible Belt. When we met, she was using the rec center to shower and stay out of the cold. I found out that Jade was homeless and had been living in a tent nearby. The temperature outside was around 6 degrees that night. We live in Cripple Creek Colorado, at around 9700 feet elevation. Currently, Jade is waiting to start her new job at one of the casinos in town. I am trying to raise money for her first months rent, deposit, and other living expenses including a car to drive to work. The temperature outside here is not going to get any warmer and there is snow on the forecast soon. If you can afford to donate anything to Jade it would be greatly appreciated. I am at least trying to raise enough for her to be able to rent a place so she can get out of the cold. Thank you and god bless!
