Fallen Patriots Virtual 5K

On August 20th 2013, MSG George A Bannar Jr. was Killed In Action (KIA) in Afghanistan. A large group of friends and family have decided to hold a Virtual 5K in his honor. All of the funds the Fallen Patriots Virtual 5K raise will go towards a college scholarship for a graduating JROTC cadet at the Orange County High School (VA).
To date the Fallen Patriots Virtual 5K has been able to provide college funding to two graduating JROTC cadets. Each graduate received $1000.00 to aid them in advancing their education.
The Fallen Patriots Virtual 5K's goal to potentially provide financial assistance to multiple schools across the country as well as remember the life of an outstanding soldier and those like him.
