Fire Relief Fund For Bell Family

I am starting this fund for my boyfriend Isiah and his family. Isiah and I are both seniors at St. Lawrence University. He is a Performance and Communications Arts major whilst I am a Government major.
Last night there was a devastating fire in the Bronx on Valentine Avenue in which a number of houses, including the one of Isiah Bell and his family, were destroyed. Luckily, Isiah's mother, father, younger sister and their cat Badger made it out safely, but everything they owned is now gone. The Red Cross has been able to provide assistance until the end of this weekend, but afterwards they are going to have to start from nothing and they could really use OUR help!

I have known Isiah for a while now and he is one of the most loving, kindest, genuine and strongest people I have ever met. I was blessed enough to spend my thanksgiving with his family in the Bronx and they are all full of love and joy, they were kind enough to take me in and take care of me as their own daughter.  Most of us, including myself, have never and will never go through a tragedy like this one and it is hard to imagine this kind of pain and suffering. It is during times like these that we must reevaluate our own lives and remember what's important.

I realize it is a challenging time to ask for money because the holiday season is upon us, but try to imagine yourselves in their shoes with nothing but the clothes on your back. Every little bit helps, even if it's a dollar as the proceeds will go towards the rebuilding of their lives and home.
