We are a reptile specialty store located in Melbourne Fl. We are a woman owned business that comes from humble beginnings. We took our passion for reptiles and what little we had packed away in our savings account and opened a small 300 sq ft store front in a local weekend market.
From there we took every penny we made and reinvested it into our business. Doubling our space in only 3 months. Opening our own 1,300 sq ft store this past September, just shy of our 3 year anniversary.
We have yet to take a paycheck from our business as our sole focus is growing our business into a store that our customers will be proud to call the only store they need for all their reptile needs.
What sets us apart from others is our genuine passion for reptiles. Our desire to educate and help fellow reptile owners. And our excitement in helping inspire the youth to love and respect reptile as we do.
Our new location has opened up so many doors. Allowing us to meet a lot of new people who share our passion for reptiles. The only problem is they have such a hard time finding us.
Our store front is easily lost between two other businesses that dominate the entrance. Leaving customers driving up and down the plaza in search of us. We know we need an awesome sign and store front that grabs their attention. Trust me, they tell us!
The only problem is that even with how quickly we have grown, we have still so much we need to achieve in store. Leaving us well short of the $1.5k+ we will need just to purchase, design and install a sign to the front of our store.
The last thing we wanted to do was ask for help. It’s been suggested more than once, but with everything everyone is facing right now we couldn’t imagine asking for help.
It was then explained to us as follows : Everyone has their own personal struggles. That will never change, but there are people who believe in you and support you They would want to help and you should let them.
This hit me like a ton of bricks. We can easily ask for help when it comes to rehabilitating reptiles in need. No question, done deal. We would easily help people we believed in if we were on a position to do so. So I am asking you to help us. Help us put our stamp on the world and stand apart from the rest.
In the event that we are blessed enough to surpass our goal all monies will go towards additional graphics to complete the entrance of our store and then to our reptile rescue fund thereafter.
