Kidney transplant - travel expenses

Hello! My name is Paula and I am going to St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver for a kidney transplant. I am looking to raise funds to cover travel and accommodation (out of pocket) expenses for my 3 month stay in Vancouver. After surgery I am expected to remain in the Vancouver area until such time my doctors are satisfied my new kidney and anti-rejection drugs are working. Then they will let me return home. Home for me is 960 km away from Vancouver, on the other side of the province.

My estimated expenses are $7,500 for airfare, public transit, meals and accommodation. I would appreciate any financial assistance you may be able to offer. Thank you for your consideration! :)
