Making a Difference

<[email redacted]>My name is Michelle Jackson and I have had the good fortune of knowing and being a patient of Carrie Edler at Skin Remedies in Santa Monica for many years. In that time she has become a dear friend, and that's why I'm reaching out to you now for your help. Carrie is currently facing a life-threatening battle with Stage IV liver cancer. As many of you may know, Carrie is a fighter. In 2012 she was diagnosed with breast cancer which resulted in her having a double mastectomy and 4 rounds of chemo. She subsequently was given a clean bill of health only to find out just this past December that her cancer had spread to her liver. She presently requires aggressive treatments to fight through this latest setback and those that is why I am mounting this campaign to help raise funds to help her with treatments. Carrie has two beautiful six-year old twins, Ayla and Jett, and along with her partner Kelly Teegardin is trying to find ways to fund her treatments while caring for her precious family. Unfortunately insurance does not cover it all and time is of the essence. This family needs our help. What I'm asking from you is that aside from continuing to be a loyal patient of Skin Remedies, please find it in your heart to make a donation of any amount to help Carrie with her fight. As a community we can make a difference. Together we can certainly help ease the pain that this family is enduring and might even make a huge difference in Carrie's prognosis.
