Hello everyone this Kenny Buck from Ridge Street Wine and Breck Cheese & Chocolate.
If you haven't heard yet. August 10th I was out for a morning ride and was involved in a pretty bad bike accident. I try not to use the high trafficked sections of the bike path. But that morning I was forced on to the path in town. I was approached by a couple coming towards me on E bikes. The women had both hands on her handle bars but the gentlemen had one had on the handle bar and the other hand holding a cell phone taking pictures. I tried to stay on my side as best as possible. But just as he reached me he lost control and fell knocking my bike out from under me and on to the ground and him.
I factures my femur pretty badly witch is holding my artificial hip in place. I now have a five inch mental plate holding my femur in place. The doctors made it very clear I need to keep off this leg for at least twelve weeks. The bone is sandwiched between a lot of mental and will take longer for the bone to heal because of little blood flow to the femur.
Not to state the obvious but Anne and I are now put in a very difficult position. keeping the shops going through the next three month. Not to mention during a huge downturn of business because of the Pandemic.
I am not one to ask for help on anything as you all know. But Anne is doing her best to keep thing rolling. So please stop in and give her all the support you can. And know any help will be much appreciated to keep us going. And to help us get through this tough time.
