Educational Dream

Hello, my name is Allison Lee. I am a 22 year old from North Carolina. I have a bachelors degree in Sport Management from Winthrop University that I received in May 2013. For the past seven months I have been in the college internship program at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. This past fall I applied to graduate school at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, UK and two weeks ago received an acceptance letter for the Masters in Management degree. I have to respond by February 12th with a $2000 deposit. I am seeking help with this deposit and anything over that amount would greatly help and go towards the approximate $40,000 tuition and fees including airfare. I am actively seeking student loans but none that I have found will be able to cover the entire cost since I will be an international student.

This is the opportunity of a lifetime and has been one of my goals since the moment I stepped foot on the campus three years ago on a visit to the town of St. Andrews during my one month study abroad experience at the University of Stirling in Scotland. From this program I will gain an international perspective on the business field that I would not be able to get anywhere else. The program requires hands on experience and research to be completed throughout the program. I hope to support local St. Andrews businesses through this research when I am there and to assist with the junior golf program while I am there. The skills and information I learn from this program will greatly assist me once I return to the States and start a career.


While I am in Scotland I will also have the opportunity to compete on the top level club golf team. This will be another great experience to be in the middle of where golf began and to see the dynamics and deep history of the game.
