On December 24, Genesis was air-evac’d to UMC Tucson from Sierra Vista because her temp was unnaturally low and she was struggling to breathe properly. Since she has been in Tucson, they have diagnosed her tiny body with not one but two congenital heart defects. The first being called a severe aortic coarctation. That means that a part of her aorta is extremely narrow and unable to sufficiently pass blood through. The second doesn’t have an official name but they said the closest thing to it is called hypo plastic left heart syndrome. This means that the left side of her heart is smaller than it should be and she’s also unable to sufficiently pump blood through. This makes for some scary things in her future. So we ask that you please please please pray for little Genesis and thank God that He is with her. There is a long road ahead and she will most likely have surgery within the next two weeks. This surgery is not the only surgery she will have. They are expecting that she will have many. Any support financially is very much appreciated. And please, please pray for this family and all the choices they will be faced with in the days to come. Thank you all!!!!
