Friends
of the 415th is a military support group that is presently seeking
sponsorship from local residents and businesses in order to recognize our resident Louisiana
Army National Guard unit, the 415th Military Intelligence Battalion,
and their families for their sacrifices and accomplishments at home and abroad.
Their recent accomplishments include deploying to both Afghanistan and Iraq alongside active duty units to provide critical logistical and operational support. They were also intermittently activated for hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Ike, and Isaac as well as the Gulf oil spill.
We would like you to become a friend of the 415th by contributing to our organization and sponsoring our soldiers in preparation for the formal military dinner known as the "Dining Out."
As you can imagine there is plenty to keep our soldiers busy with little time for recognition of their efforts. We are planning the 415th Dining Out event to take place in June 2014. To help supplement the cost of food and entertainment, we will need to raise some money. Any type of support that your sponsorship can provide will be most graciously accepted.
We look forward to your sponsorship of our mission. With your help we can finally give back to those who give everything to serve our great nation and let them know how much we appreciate their service.
When we have this formal dinner together, we get to rehash old times and meet both new and old friends over great food at the same table. Any help you can give would be much appreciated! Each dollar that you are able to donate will go towards the cost of food, renting a ballroom, some decor, a photographer etc. Thank you again for your love and support for these soldiers!
