Cian's Birthday Gift
Donation protected
Cian would have been 9 years old on the 2nd of December 2019 and with the success of last year's fundraising, we are planning to walk/ jog /run the Santa Dash 5k to celebrate Cian's birthday again with all proceeds going to Wicklow Rapid Response Unit. Last year we raised an amazing €3000, it would be great to achieve this again. This will cover the cost for a years insurance on their rapid response vehicle.
The Wicklow Rapid Response is a voluntary organisation providing advanced pre-hospital emergency medical care to the people of Dublin south, Wicklow and beyond in association with the National Ambulance Service. They were first responders at the roadside to Cian, their valiant work stabilised Cian so that he could reach Temple street hospital, Cian's injuries were too severe, he would not survive but we had precious time with our precious boy and he was able to give one final gift, the gift of life to others, as an organ donor.
The Wicklow Rapid Response Unit has no government support and relies solely on charitable donations.
We humbly ask you to help us keep this voluntary service going for another year by donating now, a small birthday gift to remember our fun loving, happy, carefree boy Cian.
