Support for the Masons
Donation protected
On October 31st, 2018, the Masons received some heartbreaking news that their oldest, Dot (6 years old), was diagnosed with leukemia. Of the two primary types of leukemia, Dot was diagnosed with T-Cell ALL, which requires the most aggressive and expensive treatment because it is the most difficult to treat. The course of treatment is two and a half years.
A conservative estimate of what the Masons will spend out of pocket for Dot's treatment over the next few months is totaling more than $11,000, not including medications. This amount will increase depending what insurance will cover as well other variables we discover as Dot's treatment "road map" evolves. Aside from the treatment itself, additional costs are anticipated - from fuel for the many hospital visits (45 miles, one way) to flights (for family coming to help with little sister, Kat, age 3), to special foods, and more. Dealing with the diagnosis is challenging enough without having to worry about the expenses of her care. Please help us ease this burden so the family can focus on working with the doctors and taking care of sweet Dot and themselves.
Any amount you can contribute will be greatly appreciated and will be put to use immediately. Feel free to share this campaign with other friends and family who may be interested in donating.
The family would like to note that while your loving donations are extremely valued, the greatest need is your continued and ongoing prayer. We can accomplish much together, but none us of can do what He can do.
