Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me. (John 14:6 AMP)
Like those who journey to Tibet in search of inner peace and an encounter with The Dalai Lama, The Camino de Santiago, also none as "The Way," is a pilgrimage.
"The Way"
"The Way" stretches from France to Santiago, and in recent years "The Way" has become a very popular spiritual pilgrimage for 40 to 50 thousand people a year, covering 311 miles. Located northwest, outside the City of Pamplona Spain, sits a small Village. Villamajor de Monjardin has two hostels that sit in the town square. These Hostels have something more than a hot meal, shower, and bed to offer. Oasis trails offers their guests Jesus meditation, prayer for their needs, a blessing with each meal, and each guest receives a New Testament Bible in his or her language.
"The Plan"

Three years ago, I began talking about this mystery trip to Spain with friends and family. The first dream was to walk "The Way." This as a great opportunity to share with people, just like the Apostles. Months later, after continued research and more dreaming, I thought it would be fun to go stay in a hostel in Barcelona or Madrid. I would chat with the travelers and share Jesus. As I was sitting in church this past fall, my Pastor said, "Keep the plans you have purposed in your heart! If you told God you were going to do something, do it!" I sat in my chair thinking of the conversation with God, He and I had three years ago. I had planned to take this amazing mission trip to Spain! There I sat feeling like I had hit so many dead ends. I had not tried to quit on the plan. I just did not know how to make it happen. That night, I purposed in my heart to plan the trip to Spain and go. The next day, I was sitting at my computer and there it was, the Oasistrails.org! A Christian hostel, located on Camino de Santiago!! I knew the next step! I contacted the keepers of the Oasis trails in Village of Villamajor de Monjardin! The very next day, I received my email! They were very interested in getting to know me and having me serve in the hostel. I have now received my acceptance letter, set a date, and spoke with Bert and Betty whom run the hostel in the summer months. Now the true work begins.
"The Purpose"
So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; For God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency for every good work. As it is written: "He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever."(2 Corinthians 9:7-9)
I share this verse to say; "I'm at a point in my life where I know that this step toward Spain is going to move me into greater things. Spain is the Catalyst to the rest of my life! For He knows the plans He has for each of us! I need your support to get me to the next step. By funding me on my great journey, you will be planting seed in Spain, reaching nations all over the world and sowing for you. Inside of each of us is a drive; a desire for purpose. It's time, will you please pray and ask Abba Father what your gift looks like. In the Kingdom of God, the offering is not measured by the size of the gift, but the heart in which it is given. All donations, big or small, will be accepted with joy.
