Help Charlie

For some time now we have known that our friend Charlie will be loosing his home.  We are looking to raise $7,000 in order to help Charlie get back on his feet.  Charlie is in need of a place to live and your donations would greatly help him get back on his feet.

Charlie lost his full time job back in 2010, and due to his elderly age has not been able to find work.  After a couple of years of paying his condo fees with the little money he received from Social Security, Charlie had to choose between eating and paying the condo association.  This has unfortunately led to the condo board taking action against Charlie and the bills have continued to stack up.  

Charlie has dedicated a lifetime to service to others as he is a Bishop in the American Catholic Church.  We have personally know Charlie for many years and he has been nothing less than supportive and giving to us and to others.  

Charlie is scheduled to appear in court on January 29, 2014 where a judge will decide how long he will be allowed to live in his current home.  Regardless of the courts decision, Charlie will in fact be evicted sooner rather than later.  Unfortunately, Charlie's attempts to secure public housing have fallen short as he was told that there was a waiting list of 67,000 in Washington, DC alone.

Any contribution towards our friend and an outstanding citizen would be greatly appreciated.
