I am 53 years old and was diagnosed in May of 2013 with a cancer called Leiomyosarcoma. I have a primary tumor located in my lower inside thigh and it has spread to my lungs. Which is common for this cancer.
Leiomyosarcoma is one of the forms of a very rare and aggressive cancer called Sarcoma.
A sarcoma is a cancer of the connective or supportive tissues of the body. These tissues include bone, cartilage, fat, muscle, and blood vessels.
I have had 2 different chemo's. The first one did nothing to any of my tumors. The second has helped, but my Dr told me in November of 2013 that I probably have a year to live. There is no cure for this cancer.
I am here asking for funds for a bucket list road trip. My desire is to rent a car and drive to California with some stops on the way. I would also like to take a few days to fly from Las Vegas to Hawaii. The trip back will be driving up the CA coast to see the Redwood trees, then to Seatle to visit some relatives that I have never met.
With the help o friends, family and strangers I am hoping for this wish to happen this June.

Unfortunately this news broadcast did not help me raise even one donation towards a car I can drive.
