Willie Tyler Jr. Kidney Fund
December 1, 2013
Reverend & Mrs. Willie F. Tyler Sr.
Dear Family & Friends,
We have recently been informed that our son Willie F. Tyler, Jr. (Boo) has been diagnosed with
kidney failure and will need to undergo a kidney transplant immediately. The news was devastating,
however, we cannot allow such to prevent us from searching for ways to help with the costs of the
transplant and aftercare expenses, therefore, and we are appealing to you for help.
Willie has so much to live for; he is a wonderful son, husband and father of five adorable sons
and daughters. He is employed and has been for the Intel Corporation for years and has a strong faith in
God, family and friends.
Our hearts were broken when we heard the information, so we began to research information
about kidney transplants, and it was overwhelming to know all of the procedures, and expenses
involved. Willie Jr. (Boo) has insurance but it will only cover so much of the related costs. In an effort to
help him our goal is to raise $60,000 or more which is approximately the amount needed after his
insurance. We don't have a definite amount because of the complications that may cause him to seek
medical care in the meantime. We will launch fundraising campaigns to help defray the costs as well.
To start, we ask each of you to please make a donation of $100 or more to help our son live. A
contribution of any amount will be greatly appreciated, you make the choice.
Thank you so much for your support for it will play a vital role in the efforts of saving a life. May the Lord
continue to bless and keep you. We will think of you dearly, as we see him experience the rest of his life
with family and friends.
Sincerely,
Reverend & Mrs. Willie F. Tyler, Sr.
